The recipe in the book was developed using an older low power (500 watt) microwave. This style of oven did not have a revolving turntable (this is why the recipe tells you to rotate the dish in step #3).

This is the Pyrex Storage Plus 11 cup microwave dish with cover.

This recipe was developed for 2 reasons:
1) To demonstrate pugs versatility
2) For those who may not have a conventional oven

Note: The recipe for the optional icing made out of plain yogurt is really good!
