USING FRESH INGREDIENTS
Making pug bread with fresh fruits is a little more work but the effort is
worth it if you want the best quality possible for you product.

Although canned applesauce and pineapple are used in a number of the published
recipes, you can easily substitute fresh fruit for them.
Here's some pictures of cutting -up a fresh pineapple:

This picture shows fresh AVOCADOs being mashed to make "2 Pears
Pug".
*Note: This is one of the Best tasting breads ("2 Pears Pug":
see recipes page) in the book (and the author's
favorite). The avocados (and bananas) give it a rich texture (+honey, walnuts,
dried diced pears, cinnamon, whole wheat, oats).
(Named "2 Pears" pug as Avocados are sometimes called "pear
avocados" due to their shape and dried diced pears are added-in)
