LABELS: PUG BREAD
If you're going to give pug breads as gifts, it's nice to put a label on
them.
In your book on pg J there are some sample labels we have used. You can copy
these and paste them on white-paper sandwich bags. You'll probably want to make
your own on your computer and either print them on the bags or make a paste-on
label. Finding the right size white paper bags is a little difficult.
Tip: "Little Caesars" pizza has a nice white paper sack that has their
logo on it.
We suggest you first wrap your loaf in a plastic produce bag and then put it in
the labeled paper bag.
Here's another pug bread label we have used:

LABELS: GRANOLA
We like to give granola as a Christmas gift to our friends. The No. 10 cans we
discussed on the PACKnSTORE page work great for this,
especially if you're going to give a number away. (We have occasionally found
plastic gal jugs for $1, but they usually cost $2-$3).
This granola label was printed in "landscape" page orientation
on legal size paper(14" x 8.5"). We first pasted a blank sheet on the
can and then this label sheet. You can even put a picture of yourself/family on
the sheet for a little added touch.

Caution: Make sure you:
1)remove the original can label
2)clean & sanitize the cans
3)file down any metal burrs that may have been created when the can was opened

Note: To make our No.10 can labels we use the same 1 gal E-Z Trails label
in your book on page K and eliminate (white-out) the line that reads: Contents:
one gallon Net Wt: 5 lbs (2.3kg),and we do not change the "Nutrition
Facts" .
$Note: The ingredients to make E-Z Trails granola cost about $9/gal or
$7/No.10 can.
On our 1 gal jars we put the Name/ingredients label on the front (square
plastic jugs) and the "Nutrition Facts" label on the back.

Remember: You can change the "Ingredients statement" and
recalculate the "Nutrition Facts" if you make a different style
granola by using the
E-Z
NUTRITIONAL COMPARISON CHART
in your book.
